Cafe Savvy

Cosy Cafe with a nice view, hidden in the backstreets of Highton. Cheerful staff and friendly service, the food was awesome. Love the orange juice as well, not that processed stuff. A favourite with locals.

Savvy is a large and beautiful cafe that provide surprisingly little in the way of food options. Their main food items seem to be toasted sandwiches and bagels so I opted for the toasted Ruben sandwich and an orange juice. I was happy to find the juice fresh and delicious. The Ruben sandwich was large and properly toasted with golden crusty bread. There was plenty of meat, cheese and sauerkraut, just the way a Ruben sandwich should be. They even made it their own with a touch of cocktail sauce. I had never tasted this in a Ruben sandwich before but I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it tasted. It really kicked it up a notch. Friendly service too. So while they do not really focus on the sort of brunch type meals you expect to see at a CBD cafe they do make tasty sandwiches.

This is a great place to dine. It has a spacious seating area, and serves tasty food & coffee. On my visit the staff were friendly and table service was prompt. My Almond milk coffee had great flavour due to their use of Milk Lab products. The pancakes I smashed down were light but filling and had a bright and tangy fruit compote splashed all over them . The accompanying pot of ice-cream went down a treat too. My wallet was more than happy to surrender the cash to pay for my dining experience at Cafe Savvy .

Yum! Great place to have a meeting at or just general brunch! Spacious and fantastic friendly service :) other meeting member was stoked at how fair prices are! Have recommended this place to others too:) love that there's a fair amount of vegan options too! Can't wait to see more! Will be back again! (And have been back haha they've got a coffee stamp card!) Charging power points at the back next to the sofa :)

I can always rely on getting a great coffee at Cafe Savvy The staff are lovely, the food is fresh and delicious, and there are plenty of sweet snacks including several delicious gluten free options. Indoor and outdoor seating available, plus it’s close to local IGA so handy for grabbing some groceries.

Have been in here about 8 times over the last 2 years. Location, food and staff are great but it’s the little things that never seem to improve that irk me. Hopefully you can blow me away with simple changes to make your cafe spot on. Sweep or vacuum up dead blow flies EACH morning( seeing dozens of dead blow flies under large windows every visit not nice). Get paint stains off large windows with a razor blade. Remove spider webs regularly. Use jif on walls to get rid of stains( especially in bathroom). Wash cushion covers regularly. Ensure floors are cleaned properly. Or maybe I am the one with the problem and should not enjoy my surroundings but stare at my iPhone

Incredible food made with love and knowledge of flavours! Very friendly staff who asked how everything was, these ppl care. We will be back, the beef sandwich and pouched eggs on sourdough were awesome... also a great spot for ppl watching while we eat. Great coffee menu too!
